The paper studied the effect of shape of the hull on the kinematic parameters of the longitudinal pitching and wave bending moments for ship hulls with different coefficient is – Cb, the provisions of the abscissas center value – xc and abscissa Center Square waterline – xf. To this end, we used program for computing the longitudinal pitching "MOTION", developed by the authors, as well as routine to automatically generate various forms of the ship’s hull, depending on the xc, xf through analytical relationships. The results obtained allow us to give recommendations for the design of the hull forms with regard to its behavior in the rough sea surface.

Key words: design, the hull, the wave bending moments, the kinematic parameters of pitching, the longitudinal pitching, the standard deviation.
