EFFICIENCY COMPARISON OF WAVE SURFACE GENERATION USING MPI AND OPENCL

Gankevich I. G., Degtyarev A. B., Soe Moe Lwin,
State Marine Technical University of St. Petersburg
e-mail: gig.spb@gmail.com

The paper compares the different software approaches to generate the wave surface. It describes autoregressive model, shows general solution of problem and particular algorithms for each approach, estimating their efficiency. This model is often used in modeling dynamic object behavior in virtual polygon and in intelligent onboard ship realtime system testing tools. The article gives you a brief comparison of MPI and OpenCL technology, mentioning their advantages and disadvantages.

Key words: autoregressive model, MPI, OpenCL, wave surface generation, parallel computing.

PROJECT ANALYSIS OF THE LOAD CAPACITY AND STABILITY OF FISHING VESSEL

Zakharov A. I.
State Marine Technical University of St. Petersburg
e-mail: paranoidti@rambler.ru

The issues of  project analysis of the most important of fishing vessel – load capacity and stability, the system displayed the design equations. It is considered a variety of account maintenance situations of fishing vessels and unusual combination of capacity and mass of fuel in their deadweight. The structure of  the equation capacity based on the study of the layout data of specific ships. In equation initial stabilitydetermined by the rational values of normative values and reflected communication with the requirement of stability curve and conditions ensure a smooth roll.).

The mode of the correction for the designed descriptions of the high-speed boat (the displacement, the power of the main engines, the economics parameters) has been founded on the analysis of the equation of the load and of the stability and of the motion and of the economy in the form of the particular increment. There are the examples of the designed use of this mode.

The article presents an analysis of the global arms market over the past few decades. Considered military spending, and exports of arms and the number of ships built. It is shown that different countries react differently to the global financial crisis. But, overall, the global economic crisis is not a hindrance for the export of arms. The conclusion that the rate of entry of ships in the navies of the world is associated with long-term development programs of the Navy, Structural Change generations of ships, changes in the military-political situation in the world and with the rising costs of the ship, but from financial crises – is virtually independent.

Key words: financial crisis, the export of weapons, shipbuilding.

CALCULATION OF WAVE RESISTANCE DISPLACEMENT VESSELS OF ARBITRARY SHAPE

Gotman A. S., Titov M. A.,
Novosibirsk State Academy of Water Transport
e-mail: agotman@yandex.ru

The article discusses a method allowing to calculate the wave resistance of the vessel by an arbitrary displacement-theoretical design. The method is based are known Michell integral and approximation of ship hull form with a curve transformed from a curve Mary Anezi. The good agreement between the results of calculation and the quantities characterizing the impedance of the actual ships.

Keywords: wave resistance integral Michell, an approximation of a surface ship.
